Bungie makes Halo 3 Heroic Pack free this Tuesday

If you’re an avid fan of the Halo franchise, you are no doubt awaiting the release of the Legendary Map Pack. While there is still a little less than a month to wait (April 15) before it is launched, Bungie has decided to stir up some excitement by letting you download their Heroic Map Pack for free.

Starting this Tuesday at 2 am you’ll be able to download the latest maps for your favorite FPS (well, for Halo 3 at least). Sure, plenty of you have likely already purchased the maps already, but for those that haven’t felt like dishing out the required $10, you’ll want to jump on this one.

For those that have recently purchased the Heroic Pack and are wondering about some kind of refund, I wouldn’t get your hopes up. There is no plan (that we’ve heard) of refunds, just some good clean (free) fun for those that haven’t paid already.
