In a house? In one room over, 5ghz isn’t going to be hitting 1.3gb/s, I bet it won’t hit half that. If you aren’t going to hit half of 1.3gb/s, you might as well go with powerline networking or gigabit ethernet. I agree with not using the 2.4ghz channel space  (It’s saturated and crowded, I completely understand why you wouldn’t want to use that.)  900mhz unlicensed space would have been perfect, but nobody uses it except for baby monitors and a few phones :/
