I have both Box and Dropbox accounts. The Box account is a pain because it has no sync folders, I much prefer Dropbox. This sounds like a contorted solution to solve the problems sync folders handle much more smoothly.

Sugar sync has done this from Windows, Mac and iOS for well over a year. Automatic save and sync across all configured devices.

yep….dropbox does this already. I don’t understand the hype about the “new” Box feature.

Maybe that should have been a point in his article. Personally, I haven’t had problems with the free dropbox limit. It’s great for document storage (Excel, Word, txt, files, etc.) and it has versioning so I can restore and older copy of a file. If you need storage for music and photos iCloud has you covered and I’m pretty sure Amazon has something similar.But your right the author is clearly promoting Box. To bad he’s not very good at it.

Okay so I am playing this game and I went through all of the floors but I

DocLanding also does this, and so does Dropbox. I’ve used both for a couple years. Doc landing is better for sharing with other professionals, more secure.

It is clear that author is promoting Box…when something like Dropbox already exists…definitely Box is not the first, but it does offer more space than Dropbox…I can see more online storage boxes coming from here :-)

Agreed!!! Hit save to your dropbox folder and your done. No login, file selection, or upload. And not only is it supported by most platforms, it’s also integrated into many IOS and Android apps.

I don’t see how this is different than dropbox , which already works on nearly all platforms (including Android and Linux), and automatically syncs without having to do as the author suggests. File and folder changes are updated automatically, with no user interaction required. Sounds like the author has never actually used dropbox.
