One of the first questions that came to mind, does it compare to my Jawbone. Then I remembered that I have two aviation headsets from Bose and they are great so how could it not be great also. Wrong! The headset seems to be cheaply made mine had continues to drop calls from my Samsung Galexy. The Bose does not seem to want to answer like my Jawbone does and because I am a little hard of hearing the volume is not loud enough (the hard of hearing comes to us as we get older) Something I don't think Bose thought of. The same goes true for the directions they are printed on some kind of tissue paper with a gloss and I have not found any of my friends who can read it either. The Packaging is nice. Same with my Jawbone. But as you might have already figured it out I like to have the best and latest. I thought that was what I was getting from Bose. I think it fell short!

Having just purchased the Bose Bluetooth and after reading your "ra ra ra" all-through-pink-glasses review (did Bose pay you for the glory writeup?) I strongly disagree with your view about wearing this thing on your ear.

In terms of "attach to ear StayHear" mechanics someone at Bose must have been asleep!
The soft silicon wing tip is a useless design! The ear attachment "Stay Hear" works only with a specific type and shape
of human ear; I guess the Bose product developers ear. See my review at Newegg.

I
cannot affix it to my ear, tried everything as per manual, trying all three attachment sizes. The device falls off by itself. Ear attachment is typically so over
engineered it fits probably on specific ear.

I followed all instructions as per manual, tried on all three different
attachments : S; M; L but none work. The device hangs loose and will
shortly or after a brief walk fall out of my ear.

(Poster HARRY, you run through the airport with it???)

Other Thoughts: Bose Engineers! Redesign the the soft
StayHear" attachment! It's over-engineered and does not hold up. It
apparently fits one particular type ear. Offer alternative methods to
attach it to the ear. We are not all clones!

While the sound quality is superb, the attachment mechanics are a disaster.
Regrettably and much to my dismay I will have to return it loosing $ 30 on restocking and shipping. To bad Bose.

Before knowing about the latest Supertooth Buddy bluetooth,I was using my normal bluetooth device. But most of my Bluetooth usage occurs in the car. Then I read about it in"http://www.i4u.com/45994/review-supertooth-buddy-road-warriors-frustrating-best-friend".The new Supertooth Buddy is specially made for car users. It is unique as you don't have to wear it or carry it in and out of the car or even charge it all that often. All the users have to do is turn Bluetooth on in the phone's settings as they leave the house. By the time they get into the car, the phone is paired up and good to go. You don't even need to remove it from your pocket. The Buddy seemed like a perfect solution to all the problem regarding the use of bluetooth inside the car.The Buddy's voice-dial feature makes it safe and easy to make and answer calls on the road. The audio quality is also good. If you need more information just go through the column at the link mentioned above.

i also love this bluetooth! Question: after it is on for about 4 minutes you hear a sound of muliple tones that is not listed in the manual. I would think it means it may be going into power saving mode. Anyone have an idea of that this tone signals?

The best feature of this device is the fit. It is easily the best fitting and most comfortable BT headset I've ever tried. Best of all it doesn't fall out when running thru the airport. The sound quality is pretty good. Where it falls short is battery life which seems to short. It does not give you any visual warning on the headset until it's about to die. It does not show up on my iPhone like the ICON does. I experienced a problem with it dropping the connection to my phone whenever I put the phone into the pocket in my jeans. I also think the on off switch is too loose. It's easy to turn it off as you fit it into your ear.
