Boost Mobile adds Blackberry Curve 8530 to lineup

If you are a Blackberry fan that doesn't want to be strapped down with a new contract for a smartphone, Boost Mobile has a new offering you might find interesting. The pre-paid carrier has announced that it has a new Blackberry in its line of smartphones with the unveiling of the Curve 8530 on its network.

The Curve 8530 will work on the Boost Mobile Blackberry Monthly Unlimited plan. The plan costs $60 monthly and gives users all the voice, text, and web surfing they want. The handset itself is familiar already. The Boost version has the optical trackpad, camera, WiFi, and GPS all built-in.

The phone is also loaded with email, IM, text messaging and access to social networks like Facebook and others. The smartphone has a 2GB microSD card included and supports cards up to 32GB for storage. The 8530 will cost $249.99 and will hit stores later this month.
