B&N NOOK arrives in Walmart from Oct 24

Always wanted a NOOK but refuse to step into a Barnes & Noble store or shop online?  You're in luck, then, as the bookseller has just announced its wireless ereaders will be showing up in Walmart stores (as well as through their online store) from October 24 2010.

Both the NOOK 3G – which has WiFi and AT&T 3G connectivity integrated – and the NOOK WiFi – which only packs WiFi – will be available, and while there's no pricing information we're guessing Walmart will be matching B&N's own numbers.  That means around $149 for the WiFi-only unit, and $199 for the WiFi/3G version.
