BMW M6 GT3 racer and M6 Coupe Competition Edition revealed

BMW has revealed two very sexy and fast versions of the M6 coupe. One of the cars is a pure race version set for future GT racing called the BMW M6 GT3 and the other is the M6 Coupe Competition Edition. The new GT3 racing car was developed for drivability improvements and economy improvements. The racing car uses M TwinPower Turbo technology.

Exactly how much power that racing car produces BMW is keeping under wraps. The M6 GT3 weighs under 1300kg and features a six-speed sequential racing gear box the GT3 racing car will be offered to race teams at a cost of 379,000 Euros and is aimed at endurance racing.

The streetcar based on the GT3 racer is the M6 Coupe Competition Edition. It wears a similar red, white, and blue livery and looks fantastic. The M6 street version has an M TwinPower 4.4L V8 engine that makes 600hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. If fitted with the optional M Driver's Package the car has a top speed of 189.5 mph.

Other than the Alpine White paint, buyers can also choose Austin Yellow metallic. Inside the car buyers get fine-grain Merino leather in black with contrasting stitching in opal white with white cars and in yellow with yellow cars. A HUD and M function seats for front passengers are included. The M6 Coupe Competition Edition will start at 17,700 Euros on top of the cost of a M6 Coupe.
