The car is heading to 2012 Beijing motor show and the model production is on the way. Hope the launch event will held in 2014. The car is also designed in lightweight and much highly technologically body parts called carbon fibre and fully plug-in hybrid model from bmw i series.

Ok, I looked at another article. It is 78.3 mpg (not 783 mpg) for combined cycle (gas and electric) and that is using full advantages of “loopholes” in the european test method. Real life result would likely be lower.
