BMW 6 Series pack TwinPower Turbo engines

BMW has rolled out the new BMW 6 Series cars and the model range has three distinct body styles for fans of the series to choose from. The BMW 6 Series can be had as a coupe, convertible, and a four-door Gran Coupe. All of the models come with different choices of BMW TwinPower turbo engines. Base level 6 Series cars get a TwinPower Turbo inline-6 with 315hp.

The 650i gets a TwinPower Turbo V8 packing 445hp. The top of the line in the 6 Series is the M6 with a 560hp M TwinPower V8. The M6 will be available in all three 6 Series body styles. BMW says that the Gran Coupe has been very popular and that nearly one in two registered 6 Series cars is a Gran Coupe.

All 6 Series cars get standard adaptive Full-LED headlights. 6-cylinder models of the car now get larger surrounds for the tailpipe embellishers with a diameter up from 80mm to 90mm. Newly designed 20-inch wheels are available and several new paint colors are available for the car.

The new paint colors include Jatoba metallic, Cashmere Silver metallic, Glacier Silver metallic, Mediterranean Blue metallic, and Melbourne Red metallic. Buyers will also be able to choose a black accent package, M Sport edition, and BMW Individual touches to make the car bespoke to their tastes. 6 Series cars are rear-wheel drive by default, but AWD is available on all 6 Series models. The M6 gets a 7-speed M DCT transmission. Pricing is unannounced at this time.
