I could at least see Google’s Chrome Web Store & the Android Market store being sync’d or combined with one another to bring Android Apps to the desktop, or any device for that matter…

I would love to test this with some robotics applications but as far as I see this is vaporware. The homepage is just some animation and a login box.

You might want to change the default username and password for the admin backend. Granted, there isn’t a whole lot going on besides the ability to create new accounts, and the MD5′s of the other user’s passwords (which are fairly easy to convert due to their simplicity). You can delete the account I created, if you like. Let me know if this merits a beta invite. :)

How are you going to get it running on a CR-48 inside the browser? Its not running Windows..unless you put Windows on a CR-48? This would be interesting (I have a CR-48).

I’ll be uploading a video demo of the whole experience tomorrow. We will show it running on a a tablet Windows 7 device, standard Windows 7 notebook, HP touch smart all in one and on a Chrome CR-48 inside the browser.

You will be able to do that when the software is released to the public. I’ll be uploading a video demo showing in running on a windows tablet, desktop, touch desktop all in one and inside a Chrome browser. Which was very cool.

Am I interested? You betcha! This is a solution for which I have been waiting. While having the full Android App Market available, the Amazon store is a great start!

This would be a savior for Windows Tablets since they are going to suck. But running android on top for the mobile stuff and the ability to use windows if you need something more would be a huge feature for win tablets.

Yeah i’ve followed the android x86 project for some time. Still not quite easy for the lay person, which is where BlueStacks makes it very easy since all it is, is a software install.

I have been trying it and and you are right as of now not much more offered. That is why what may be interesting is if we see dedicated Android apps for desktops and notebooks. At that point if it happens is when MS should be concerned. Yes they would still sell the base OS and perhaps they are happy with that, however Office is a huge part of their revenue as well.

Which could slow down should Android on Windows software development speed up thus making consumer more interested in ANdroid software than Windows software. MSFT needs their developer ecosystem to stay strong.

Just thinking out loud but playing around with Android on Windows is a very interesting experience that has me thinking.

This is good news for everyone overall. Why should MS be worried, they will continue selling the OS and Office, there’s no way currently a mobile OS will replace real productivity software. If anything, this solutions can help windows presence on tablets, should people find dual-boot more cumbersome than virtualization.

Personally, I’d be curious to try some Android applications in my PC, even though I doubt any of them will offer me more than native applications already do.
