Blu is releasing a new, unlocked Android smartphone, catering to millennials and selfie enthusiasts everywhere. The aptly named Selfie, focuses on generating high-quality selfies, but doesn't neglect its other features. Most smartphones let focus on the main camera while taking a light-handed approach to the front-facing lens. Selfie boasts two 13MP cameras with Sony IMX135 sensors. The main camera can record HD 1080P @ 30 FPS. An 88-degree, wide angle expands your range of possibilities for the perfect shot. The front-facing camera features a "glam flash" designed to output flattering lighting in a low-lit club for a no-filter selfie.

In case you still want a little retouching, Blu's built-in Final Touch app has got you covered, with tweaks including smoother and brighter skin, larger eyes, and a thinner face. In other words, no one will ever be able to trust Tinder profile pics again.

Blu's latest smartphone was designed more than just selfies in mind. You can watch videos and movies on the 4.7" HD 720 x 1280 resolution screen, and listen to quality audio with its Wolfson WM8918 audio chip.

Thankfully, the Android smartphone lets you do more than just take selfies. It features a Mediatek 1.7Ghz Octa-Core processor. It's a nice processor, but it isn't an improvement over Blu's previous models from last year, the Life 8 and the Vivo IV. The memory is improved, featuring 2 GB RAM. Selfie's internal memory is only 16GB, but the handset features expandable memory, using a Micro SD card which can hold up to 64GB/

The screen is encased in Corning Gorilla Glass 3, which is rumored to be similar to the lower-priced Apple Watch screens. Which, judging from this, can take a beating.

One drawback to this phone is that it's not Lollipop-ready. It's still running Android v4.4, KitKat. It's available for only $249 USD, directly from the manufacturer via Amazon.
