Blu Life Pro smartphone rocks MediaTek 1.5GHz quad core processor

Blu Products has announced a new smartphone for fans of the Android operating system called the Blu Life Pro. The smartphone is thin with a profile of only 6.9mm. The device also features a quad-core processor and a large capacity battery for longer run time.

The quad core processor is a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6589T Cortex-A7. Graphics of for the smartphone are handled via a PowerVR SGX544 GPU. The smartphone measures 147 x 72.1 x 6.9mm and weighs 158 grams.

The screen is a 5-inch HD resolution unit with a native resolution of 720 x 1280. It features a full lamination scratch resistant touch panel. The Blu Life Pro also features a rear 12MP camera with BSI sensor, autofocus, and LED flash. The smartphone runs Android 4.2.

The camera can also record full HD resolution video at 30 fps. The smartphone has integrated WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, hotspot functionality, and a FM radio tuner. Internal storage is 16GB and it has 1GB of RAM. Power comes from a 2500 mAh lithium-ion battery. The smartphone will be available unlocked on Amazon and other places in the US for $299.
