With the flourishing WM5.0 market of QWERTY-bolstered cellphones causing analysts and mobile-lifestyle raconteurs to hint darkly that the Blackberry’s day as top push-email dog are numbered, it’s interesting to get a power-user’s opinion on how the latest models match up to the old business favourite.  Greg Hughes is today’s power-user, and he swapped his beloved Blackberry 8700 for a brand spanking new Samsung Blackjack.

With positively glowing reviews all over the internet, Greg had high-hopes for the BlackJack.  In the end, however, a combination of UI frustrations, insufficient battery life and patchy keyboard performance soured him to the BlackJack.  For anyone considering an upgrade or a switch this is essential reading.
