I’m a steadfast BlackBerry aficionado, but I have to confess to being underwhelmed here. For a start, this looks quite ugly: The keyboard is straight, unlike many recent offerings where it has a concave curve. The screen is also small compared to the Torch series. I adore the BB because of the physical keyboard and connectivity quality (esp. emails). If R.I.M. released a model with a slide-out keyboard and the general appearance of the Torches, it’d be on a to winner… Even so, I’m looking forward to the forthcoming models; it’s been too long!

Makes sense to stick with the keyboard. At least then they can maybe have a niche market. No point in competing with apple and Samsung.

BBX + keyboard + tiny screen = productivity. I like getting things done. Give me that crackberry already and keep those keyboardless phones away.

Another ugly crack berry. All they need is a fleet of Blue Police Boxes and souped up Deloreans to get these out soon enough to sell them to interested parties.
