It seems like every new smartphone has a big leak these days and the BlackBerry Tour from RIM is no different. In fact Kevin Byrne, an insider from Verizon, told The Boy Genius Report that this smartphone will be launching on July 13th.
Pricing is expected to be $199 when you sign a two-year contract. Of course, none of this is official, but it does seem very likely coming from such a reputable source. In case you’ve forgotten, the BlackBerry Tour is like a cross between a Curve and a Bold.
Specifically, this CDMA phone will notably lack a touchscreen and instead have the Curve 8900’s screen. The basic design will also follow along in the Curve’s footsteps, but it will have the same keyboard as the BlackBerry Bold. Other features include 3G and GPS.
