Blackberry Torch 9800 gets teardown and video action

The Blackberry Torch 9800 was unveiled recently and we have already spent some hands on time with the smartphone from RIM. The device was hoped to help turn RIM around, but many have been lukewarm on the new smartphone and its chances of helping RIM out of its slump.

The Torch 9800 has now been torn down so we can gander at its innards. The Torch has a magnesium tray for the display and a slider mechanism rated for 150,000 slides.
