Hey everyone do your reserch before you post. BB 10 will also support android apps. I do not think that some of the people posting here has ever used a blackberry. Os 7 is very similar to Ios or android. Several people that have an android phone have switched to the torch 9850 after using my phone. They said wow is that a blackberry. Everyone needs to test a new blackberry device before that talk. Blackberry phones have the best battery life in the business because they don't rush phones to market. You have Apple which only has one style of phone and there on ios. You have google (android) which has how many companies making phones? They can't make aphone that any good. Then you have blackberry who is making there own Os and making there own phones. If they focused on just one handset then they probably would be much better off. Now here you have Samsung and HTC looking to run BB 10!

It doesn't matter if it doesn't have a hairline-thin bezel. The QNX-os on the Playbook is designed with bezel gestures in mind and I would think the phone equivalent would be the same.

meh, all those lines and angles are just there to hide that massive bezel. RIM is dead, or at least their OS is. If they started focusing on business oriented Android devices, for example, I could see a revitalization. This is the same issue Nokia had in adopting Symbian/MeeGo/WindowsPhone. It would be years before these OSes could compete and Nokia just couldn't make a profit. For RIM, the BB OS is just old. With so many alternatives out there that are already touch ready and can do basically anything, why would you actually WANT a device with BB10? RIM brought us to the future with phones that could receive email, past that point they haven't really done much at all...

Really I actually was liking that design? Seems like every couple of days there is just more bad news out of RIM. It time for changing of the guard at Waterloo. Hey rim you basically just eat half a billion on the playbook because you couldn't get native email and independent BB service. Who ever made that choice needs to be let go. It would have been cheaper to provide what the customers wanted. It has to be cheaper than the lost you just took. This phone is another example....people want one but once again you fail to realize what consumers want. Just get a phone with the new os to market Q3 isn't going to cut it. Hire more programmers probably cheaper than loss in market share your going to take maintaining the status-quo. Come on RIM pull it together.
