Bitfenix shows off sweet new Survivor PC chassis

Bitfenix has pulled a new chassis out of the shadows that looks cool. The case is called the Survivor and it has a cool SoftTouch coating that is a matte black finish that won't show fingerprints. The case also has a carry handle on top that stores away inside the case when not needed to keep things looking clean and neat.

The chassis is made from SPCC and ABS plastic and is black inside and out. It measures 230mm x 502mm x 510mm and supports mini-ATX, mATX, and ATX mainboards. Three external 5.25" bays are offered along with a single internal 5.25" bay. The case also has seven internal 3.5" drive bays for storage devices.

The internal 3.5" bays can be converted to 2.5" bays with the total number of 2.5" bays inside the case coming to nine. Front cooling is a single 200mm fan with the option of dual 120mm fans. Rear cooling has a single optional 120mm fan and the top uses a 200mm fan. There are seven PCI slots and the case has a cool locking system to keep your peripherals safe. The IO panel on the front of the case has dual USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, eSATA, and audio ports. The case is surprisingly cheap at $109 with a Core version of the case with less features going for $89 with a ship date for both versions in mid-November.
