Bill Gates Reddit Secret Santa gift brings Cow-joy to one lucky recipient

Tis the season for giving, but for the one Reddit user so lucky as to be on the receiving end of a Secret Santa gift exchange with Bill Gates, it's a really, really good year to be getting. This particular gift exchange is one done all around the world, but in this case set inside the United States, with user NY1227 getting another (unknown) person to send a gift to. Lucky her, a 7-pound gift full of packing peanuts was on her way early this week.

Recounting the entire journey through the package with intense detail, this NY1227 suggests that, at first, it just seemed like a package from a friendly fellow named Bill. Finding a stuffed cow amongst packing peanuts seemed strange at first, but once she moved through the rest of the presents, it all quickly clicked. This gift wasn't just from any ol' Bill...

This cow was attached to a donation of an unknown amount to the charity Heifer International which "gives families in need the right tools- such as animals, seeds, clean water, safe stoves or a chance for girls to go to school." It's the part of the story where NY1227 realizes who is on the giving end of this exchange that really makes this adventure one for the books:

Still not realizing who was gifting me, I quickly opened the bulk and weight of the gift, which was an amazing and beautiful travel book, "Journeys of a lifetime." I went on and on in my likes and dislikes for my love of travel and seeing the world, and I cannot WAIT to read this.

Not only that, but I love pictures and reading up on new places. This gift was perfect! I quickly flipped through it, missing the inscription, message and signature from Bill on the first page, and headed to the final part of my gift.

Once again, To me, From Bill. I opened this and it's a man holding a sign. Oh....

wait.

holy s***.

time out.
