Here's how you can remove the back cap of the Belkin Grip 360, so that you can attach the stand or handle piece....

Get one of those cheap, rubber, flat jar openers that give you a no-slip grip. I picked up a similar item at Walgreens in the hardware isle called "Get-a-Grip Pad".

Place Belkin Grip 360 on a firm surface (table or desk) with the removable disk piece side up. (Of course, don't have your iPad in it yet.)

Place the rubber piece on the black disk. Turn your right hand as far as you can to the right and place it on the rubber piece.

Press down as hard as you can while turning your hand to the left (or counter-clockwise). Don't be afraid that you'll break it...you gotta press so hard that the Belkin Grip 360 case will flatten out as you turn. You'll hear a little snap noise and it will turn so that you can align the solid dot on the black cap with the dot on the grey ring that has a dot within the dot.

When you attach your stand or handle, be sure to align the dot on the stand or handle with the solid dot on the grey ring again so that it is secure.

Belkin seriously needs to include these instructions and include a rubber grip piece in the package to help their customers use and appreciate this product.

What a joke! If I spin the case the wrong way my iPad falls off the handle! Luckily I caught it before it went crashing to the floor. I see potential lawsuits from broken iPad owners. RETURNED.

I checked out the Handstand (THANKS ROCKY), and I ordered one yesterday. It looks MUCH more secure than this joke of a case.

I tried the Handstand (www.thehandstand.com) after trying the Belkin product and ended up buying the Handstand. i amTOTALLY satisfied.
Not only was installation easy (and easily removable) instructions were easy and the other cool features (inclined both in portrait and landscape mode for easy table top typing---and all for the same price) made the ddecision to buy the Handstand easy.
I am totally satisfied and my IPAD does not have anything stuck to it.
Give it a try !
