Ladies and gentleman, we have finally arrived. A manufacturer finally took notice of the increasing number of devices that charge via USB and has been kind enough to finally start integrating that technology into surge protectors/power strips.

BelkinMiniSurgeProtectorwithUSBcharger

As an added bonus this one is made nice and small and compact for easy travel use so you aren’t sitting in your miniscule hotel room with two outlets and a laptop, cell phone, camera, iPod, Bluetooth headset, and printer that all need power for charging or for use. You get 3 regular power receptacles and 2 USB ports on the end that provides power.

I think the only thing they could do to make this product better would be to add 3 more ports to it and make on of them the host port so you could use it as a powered hub as well, I mean, it’d be perfect for Rock Band, you could plug in all your instruments and your Xbox 360 or PS3 in one plug. If you want one it will cost you $24.99 which is on par with some of the more reliable single port USB chargers of seen as of late.

Yeah but the way the plug looks, it will either block the lover outlet on the wall or the upper outlet will block the USB slots…

That is what I was thinking. They need to put them on the side to make it usable.

The plug can rotate so you can have it any which way you want. It can be vertical or horizontal in either direction.
