The big problem with the shuffle is that the device has no external controls so users have been stuck with the stock headphones that have the integrated controls. Belkin has announced a new adapter for the shuffle that allows the user to use any headphones with the player by adding a short cable with controls for the shuffle between the headphones and the player. The cable plugs into the shuffle and any 3.5mm connector headphones plug into it.
