Looking a little like the LG Shine’s slightly less attractive sister, this Eliya touchscreen smartphone would be pretty unremarkable were it not for the fact that it’s dual-SIM.  “So what” I hear you guffaw, “dual-SIM has been around for ages.”  Well yes, but the i901 is clever in that it can register with both SIM cards at once, meaning you get both service from two networks at the same time.

No more switching between SIMs via a menu option or - if we’re being really low-tech - power cycling the phone.  Other than the convenience of that, we’re talking a 2.2-inch LCD touchscreen, 1.3-megapixel camera, mp3, MPEG4 and 3GP video playback and microSD memory expansion.

The phone measures 94 x 52.7 x 16.9 mm and weighs 94g.

I would imagine we’d be unlikely to see this phone outside of Asia, sadly.

Just curious why you think we’d be unlikely to see this phone outside of Asia?? I have one here in Oz. You can also buy them from eBay.

    Dan.
