Pioneer has just announced their latest Blu-ray player for your PC. Sadly, while it does have the ability to burn regular CDs and DVDs, it lacks the ability to burn Blu-ray disks.
Very little is currently known about the drive, aside from the fact that it will play Blu-ray disks as well as burn DVDs. Heck, we’re not even sure what speeds this puppy will burn at.
What we do know is that you’ll have two color options: white and black. The drive will connect via SATA, so you can use up some of those empty SATA ports on the inside of your computer, it has a 4MB cache and will be released next month. In Japan.
