Baylis Eco EP-MX71 makes you work for your media

This MP3 player is both eco friendly and kind of cool, until you just want to listen to some freakin music! Then again, for those of you more athletic types, this might be a better idea so that you'll have music instead of carrying around dead weight in the form of an iPod with a dead battery.

Right now they only have a 2GB version, but there are plans for a 4 and 8 gigabyte version and there is an SD card slot for expansion. There is a standard mini USB port on the side as well as a line-in for recording on the go.

But it plays music, movies, and presumable does pictures as well. They recommend you charge it for 8-10 hours when you first get it, but after that you'll never have to charge it with electricity again, just wind it up for 1 minute and you get 20 minutes of music playback and 10 minutes of video.
