]]> http://www.slashgear.com/battle-net-hack-how-to-keep-yourself-safe-10242561/#comment-230558 Justin Guidi Fri, 10 Aug 2012 19:43:00 +0000 http://www.slashgear.com/?p=242561#comment-230558 this happened a while ago, like beginning of the year while ago. my account subscription was somehow spoofed and reactivated (it had been frozen since september due to swtor) and my account was temporaily compromised, but i immediatley got an email from blizz saying there was suspicious activity and to change my password, so i did. then soon realized my account was active – but no charge had been made to my bank account. so i played for the remainder of the spoofed month, and had even renewed itself magically somehow for a few days after the month sub lapsed – but shortly into the second month blizz caught there was some payment dispute and banned my account claiming i’d somehow hacked it, and wanted $15 just to bail my account out of cyber prison and have contacted them several times only to get a crappy automated response. needless to say i never resubbed and am going to GWII route, screwing pandas, and waiting for WoW to finally go to a b2p format.
