Batman: Arkham Knight's re-release for PC coming soon

Batman: Arkham Knight launched on PC in June as a veritable mess and was subsequently pulled as a result. Gamers had to wait months for the first patch that would fix those issues to arrive, but it went out only to those who already grabbed the game — those who hadn't gotten ahold of the game before it was pulled were left without. That PC patch arrived earlier this month, and now it seems the game will be re-released in the near future.

The reason is due to a press release recently issued by Warner Bros. for an upcoming DLC pack. The press release didn't say anything explicit about Arkham Knight's PC release, but did mention it in an info section discussing the game. The section reads:

Sources say WB knew Arkham Knight PC was horribly broken

Batman: Arkham Knight is based on DC Comics' core Batman license and is available now for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft. The PC version of the game will be available in the coming weeks*.

The timing seems right, given that the PC patch was recently pushed out to those who already have the game; it only makes sense that a re-release would be nearing at this point, and it is long overdue. How long of a timeframe "coming soon" represents is unknown.
