How big of a market segment can you get with the combination of a low-end tablet that needs a monthly data plan to fulfill its functionality? Unless its an entirely new unit with stronger hardware as well as the addition of 3G.

I’d also want to see a hardware refresh on the B&W model. I’m doing e-book production and just acquired a Kindle for testing purposes. Next to my Nook it really makes the B&N device show its age.

Also, something like a new display technology would really rate a announcement event. Say, if Mirasol became a shipping product in a color Nook, with or without 3G. (Have I mentioned how little I care about the wallet-sucking 3G?) That would be a big deal, to finally have something with a screen providing both the qualities and low power of e-ink along with full color.
