Bang & Olufsen teams with Intel for future gear

Bang & Olufsen has announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Intel that will get B&O access to the latest Intel tech. B&O is a well known company that makes very high-end and crazy expensive gear for the well heeled home theater and audio fan.

B&O didn't offer details on specific products that it would use Intel tech in, but talks about the convergence of TV and PC. It’s clear that the Intel tech will be used inside TVs that are web connected. Intel hardware may find its way into other devices as well.

"During this convergence of PC, TV and audio technologies, this strategic cooperation with Intel is hugely important to Bang & Olufsen. We looking forward to working with Intel on creating unique product solutions for the future," says Kalle Hvidt Nielsen, Bang & Olufsen President & CEO.
