I’m sure you’ve heard the expression, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Some people really take that saying to heart, such as the Yumi Modal who makes some of the coolest Sci-Fi statues made from scrap metal.
My favorite has to be the Yoda statue. They’re not limited to just the realm of Star Wars, but she also makes Predator, Spiderman and more.
The coolest thing is that she started making these in the back of her garage. They’ve been such a success that she now has two storefront locations in Bangkok. If you’re ever in that part of the world, you should really check them out. Statues start at around $4,300 and go up from there.
