Avengers: Age of Ultron new trailer drops

Marvel decided to give us a new treat today, dropping another Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer into the mix. With this trailer we see some things we've seen before, but it is mostly new footage, and there's a lot of talking — and that may not be a good thing if you don't like too much of a movie ahead of time. We've watched the trailer a couple times and there's nothing particularly spoiler-warning worthy, though of course your eyes might happen to catch something notable, so proceed with caution.

The trailer kicks off with the same theme that started the second trailer, only joined by different footage: that humans are in for a rough time, and that machines too smart for humanity's own good have set out to destroy it (something that strikes a chord in light of all the warnings about artificial intelligence in recent months).

Says the movie's iron-clad baddie: "I was designed to save the world. People have looked to the sky and seen the hope. I'll take that from them first. There's only one path to peace — their extinction." This leads to explosions and then some prattling on by Iron Man, who says that he has "created something terrible".

As far as trailers go, this one gets two thumbs up. The movie arrives this upcoming April. Be sure to check out the timeline below to watch the first two Age of Ultron trailers, as well a bit of news about the movie in general.
