Avengers: Age of Ultron first official trailer goes live

Back during the 2013 San Diego Comic Con we saw a teaser for the upcoming movie Avengers: Age of Ultron. That teaser was largely audio, featuring only close-up shots of various parts of the Ultron suit while ambiguous snippets of dialogue played in the background. Following this comes something far more satisfying (and twice the length): the official teaser trailer, which kicks off with the opening monologue, "I'm going to show you something beautiful. Everyone screaming for mercy."

Thankfully, it is a full trailer despite its "teaser" designation, giving over two minutes of glorious footage. We get a (brief) look at it all — a mangled Iron Man suit, Ultron, the Hulk, a fearful damaged city... you'll have to watch the trailer for yourself to fully appreciate it. And less you worry, there's nothing in it that is particularly "spoiler" in nature.

It seems the trailer wasn't supposed to give live until next week, but as with all things, something went awry and plans were changed. Earlier today, still images leaked from what was said (rightly so) to be from the trailer. Marvel apparently accepted that a full leak could be inbound and so published the video early.

This may be the first trailer we've seen for the movie, but it certainly isn't the first details to arise. We've covered news about the movie in ample quantities, including a bit about the direction the movie is taking in terms of storyline.
