Avatron announces beta Windows driver for Air Display

Avatron is the company that has that cool app for the iPad or iPhone that turns the mobile device into a secondary screen for your computer. The catch was that until now the only driver available for the app worked solely with Mac computers.

Avatron has now announced that it has a new beta driver available for download that will work with the Windows operating system. The new driver will let the user of the Avatron Air Display use the iPad or iPhone as a secondary screen for their computer.

The app is basically like extending your desktop wirelessly to the iPad as you would with any additional monitor added to your PC. The Air Display app can be purchased right now for $9.99 on the App Store and the beta version of the driver is free.
