		<description><![CDATA[Temperature is also a major issue as most current battery technologies won&#039;t even accept a charge if it&#039;s below freezing or above ~115 degrees Fahrenheit (which can easily happen in the summer when your car sits in a blacktop parking lot in the sun during the day).

Battery technology seems like the kind of thing that the auto companies would work on individually though, as lower cost, and longer range would provide them with competitive advantages. Maybe that&#039;s why this part is receiving more coverage; because it&#039;s a collaboration. ]]></description>
