eXpansys pulls newest model of OQO off web site

The world's smallest full-featured PC is a title held by the OQO. It's a small UMPC that's been around for a few years, and OQO was due to release a follow up, the OQO Model 02+ early this year. Apple 3rd Gen iPod Shuffle contains $22 worth of parts

Business Week looked at the report from iSuppli, and the tear down of the new iPod shuffle reveals that the player only contains $22 worth of components, including packaging. Half the cost is estimated to come from two Samsung components: the main controller chip, and the 4GB of flash memory, costing about $6 each. Read The Full Story

Motorola i465 on Nextel with full QWERTY

Motorola and Nextel are best friends since their agreement that Motorola would keep producing iDEN handsets. The latest iDEN product out of the American manufacture is the i465. Engagdet got a hold of a screen shot from a Point of Sale terminal that lists the Palm Pre Touchstone charger as $69.99 including the special battery cover required for the wireless charge to work. HP MediaSmart Servers updated; stream media to iPod/iPhone and PSP

The HP MediaSmart servers (EX485/EX487 models) received a software update today from HP. The news software allows media to be streamed to wireless devices such as iPhone, iPod Touch and PlayStation Portables. The new software also adds the ability for the servers to convert videos (including unprotected DVD's) into two separate formats: one high-resolution for playing on home devices, and a lower resolution for portable media players.
