The world's smallest full-featured PC is a title held by the OQO. It's a small UMPC that's been around for a few years, and OQO was due to release a follow up, the OQO Model 02+ early this year. However, due to financial troubles and other problems for the company, it looks like the OQO Model 02+ is not going to be released any time soon.

Want to play with Apple's new video connection standard, but don't want to shell out $800? Collins America has announced the first new line of LCD monitors to utilize Apple's new Mini Display Port standard. The CinemeView LCD displays are made specifically for Macs and the first three models will be available before September 1st, 2009.

Apple 3rd Gen iPod Shuffle contains $22 worth of parts
Business Week looked at the report from iSuppli, and the tear down of the new iPod shuffle reveals that the player only contains $22 worth of components, including packaging. Half the cost is estimated to come from two Samsung components: the main controller chip, and the 4GB of flash memory, costing about $6 each.

Motorola i465 on Nextel with full QWERTY
Motorola and Nextel are best friends since their agreement that Motorola would keep producing iDEN handsets. The latest iDEN product out of the American manufacture is the i465. The phone has cleared the FCC and will be on the Nextel iDEN network sometime in the near future we assume.

Palm Pre Touchstone Charging dock $69.99
Engagdet got a hold of a screen shot from a Point of Sale terminal that lists the Palm Pre Touchstone charger as $69.99 including the special battery cover required for the wireless charge to work. It was originally unknown if users would have to purchase the back cover separately, but it was confirmed they would be available separately or bundled.

Palm Pre possibly in wild, and more rumors of launch date
There were a few new bits of information leaked out today about the Palm Pre: a potential affirmation of the launch date, and supposed pictures of the Pre in public hands. The authenticity of the latter is less likely than the former however.
Nokia making Sidekick-type swivel phone?
The Boy Genius Report posted a mock-up of a Nokia phone supposedly in the works. They're claiming it is a "swivel E71-Type" device for Verizon Wireless. The image is based on a description given to BGR by the tipster.
HP MediaSmart Servers updated; stream media to iPod/iPhone and PSP
The HP MediaSmart servers (EX485/EX487 models) received a software update today from HP. The news software allows media to be streamed to wireless devices such as iPhone, iPod Touch and PlayStation Portables. The new software also adds the ability for the servers to convert videos (including unprotected DVD's) into two separate formats: one high-resolution for playing on home devices, and a lower resolution for portable media players.

It took me 5 minutes to set up and install the software, and I was up in running with no trouble at all. The Tablo runs for $99 MSRP, and is a solid investment for students, business users, or artists.
