Gigabyte unveils X11 as world’s lightest 11.6-inch Ultrabook

Gigabyte today officially unveiled its X11 Ultrabook following yesterday's leaked images of the laptop. The 11.6-inch Ultrabook is being touted as the world's lightest notebook, weighing only 975g or 2.15 pounds. Besides sporting a MacBook Air-like ultra thin design ranging from 16.5mm to 3mm (0.65 inches to 0.19 inches) at its thinnest point, the X11 is also made from real carbon fiber that further reduces weight. Skyrim Dawnguard official trailer released

The official trailer for Skyrim's upcoming DLC called Dawnguard has been released by game publisher Bethesda. Artwork for the new content was first teased earlier this month and is expected to be a larger than normal expansion pack for the popular video game. Verizon doubling FiOS speed to 300Mbps

Verizon announced today that it will be doubling the speed of its already blazing FiOS home Internet service. The fiber optics service was boasting 150Mbps downlink and 35Mbps uplink speeds, but soon those speeds will be boosted to 300Mbps downlink and 65Mbps uplink. It has partnered with Devicescape to offer its WiFi management tool, which will make it easy to connect to nearly 8 million public WiFi hotspots. Volvo completes first self-driving convoy in Spain

Volvo recently unleashed a convoy of self-driving cars on a public motorway in Barcelona, Spain during normal traffic. The convoy successfully completed a 125-mile trip in what is considered the world's first public test of this kind.
