Leaked specs suggest updated DROID DNA or M7 for Verizon

Well this is interesting: Twitter user @LlabTooFeR has posted a list of specs for an allegedly incoming HTC device with a codename of DLXPLUS. Those who were following rumors before the reveal of the DROID DNA will recognize the "DLX" part of that codename, as it's what the device was called before it was officially announced by HTC. So, this new list of specs suggests that an enhanced version of the DROID DNA is on the way.

Fire Emblem: Awakening retail release reportedly delayed

Sad news for those of you who were planning to pick up a copy of Fire Emblem: Awakening today, as it seems that a number of retailers in the US aren't getting their shipments in until later this week. The game was scheduled to launch today in the US, but Game Informer has spoken to some Best Buy and GameStop stores that say they haven't received shipments yet. Just the same, it seems Amazon is warning potential purchasers of a possible shipping delay, so many players may not be getting Fire Emblem: Awakening today.

BlackBerry Z10 experiencing sell outs, limited stock across UK

BlackBerry has a lot riding on the release of its newest mobile operating system, and it seems that one of its latest handsets - the BlackBerry Z10 - is getting off to a respectable start in some areas of the world. Jefferies analyst Peter Misek said in a note to investors today that the BlackBerry Z10 has launched to great consumer reception in the UK, selling out in some places. It isn't doing too bad in other regions like Canada and UAE either, so BlackBerry might just have a winner on its hands.

Last week, Bethesda announced North American release dates for the long-awaited collection of Skyrim PS3 DLC, but unfortunately, it didn't have any news to give about European release dates. That all changed today, as Bethesda has updated its original post with release dates for Europe. As is usually the case for DLC, they'll be hitting European PSN one day after the North America release.

iPad mini US listings updated with better shipping times

If you've been thinking of getting an iPad mini, it would seem that now's the time. Apple has updated its iPad mini listings on the US online store to reflect new shipping times: 1-3 days business days. Previously, Apple said it wouldn't be shipping out iPad minis until 3-5 business days after orders were placed, so this is something of an improvement.

HTC’s Q4 2012 results have revenue at NT$60 billion

HTC delivered its financial results for Q4 2012 today, and though things are looking pretty decent, the results are actually down from the same quarter a year ago. HTC said it pulled in revenue of NT$60 billion ($2.03 billion US), which is down from NT$101 billion year-over-year. HTC says its gross margin for the quarter settled at 23%, while operating margin was at 1%.

Honda's executives have a reason to smile this evening, as it seems the 2013 Accord is a hit. The company has the Accord to thank for a 12.7% boost in sales from the month before, which is certainly something to get excited about if you happen to be one of the people in charge at Honda. Even more exciting is that Accord sales rose a whopping 75.2% over sales from the same month a year prior.

The announcement of a new console is all well and good, but once the party's over and the reveal has been made, Sony then faces the difficult task of making the next PlayStation successful in the new generation. It's something of a blank slate - the other competitors in the console space are releasing new machines as well, so the platform wars can begin anew. Sony did a lot of good things with the PS3, but in order to make the PS4 a smashing success, it's going to need to ramp it up in a few areas.

Skyrim PS3 DLC release dates revealed

Back when Bethesda revealed that all Skyrim DLC will finally be coming to PS3, it unfortunately didn't give us any release dates to look forward to. Today the studio announced when each piece of Skyrim DLC will be hitting the console, and eager players will be happy to know that the flood starts in less than two weeks. Interestingly, Dragonborn will be the first to release on PS3, launching on February 12.

PlayStation 4 details leak: new touchpad-laden controller inbound

It's been a big 24 hours for PlayStation news, with Edge Magazine now claiming to have some inside information on the PS4. According to sources close to the project, the next PlayStation will feature a somewhat redesigned controller. Even though it should look more or less the same as a DualShock 3 controller, the select, start, and PS buttons are being swapped out in favor of a small touchpad similar to the rear-facing one on the PS Vita.
