Samsung has already sent out Jelly Bean updates to Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and 7 owners, but today, it's the Galaxy Note 10.1's turn. Samsung has started sending out Galaxy Note 10.1 Jelly Bean updates in the US, and with this updates, Galaxy Note 10.1 users are getting a step up on their Galaxy Tab 2 counterparts. We're talking Android 4.1.2 specifically, which is something Galaxy Tab 2 owners are missing out on for the time being - their update was only to Android 4.1.1.

Steam Greenlight approves ten new games

Steam Greenlight has been up and running since August 2012, and so far, it seems to be working out at least relatively well. Today Valve announced the fourth round of games to make it through the community voting service, meaning that more than 60 games have now been approved through Greenlight. That isn't too bad, and if you've been gaming for a while, there's at least one title in this latest round of approvals that you'll recognize.

After a lot of build-up, today is the day that Microsoft is ready to roll Windows Embedded 8 Industry into its Release Preview. Much like the consumer release of Windows 8 before, it seems that the three different versions of Windows Embedded 8 will be getting previews, with Embedded 8 Industry's going live today. Homeland Security still warns against Java use despite fix

Well that didn't last very long: this morning Oracle released a fix for a Java vulnerability that had the government suggesting users turn off the software. As it turns out, The Department of Homeland Security is still saying that Java poses a risk, despite the fix. The Department said in an updated security note this afternoon that Java 7 Update 11 may not actually restrict access to privileged code.
