If USB hubs are a common thing these days, then what’s so uncommon about this? Yes, this is a triangular hub, the first of its kind. It has an aluminum body with 4-port USB 2.0-powered HUB which allows data transfer at the rate of 480Mbits/sec and is also equipped with a power adapter if the circumstance requires. Reaping the advantage of its triangular shape it now becomes more accessible and can be placed in many positions and by using just one port of the computer it allows you to connect to four USB devices.
The Hot Swappable function makes it possible to connect remove peripherals at any time without the needing to restart your computer. It measures 28x101x25mm and is fully Windows Plug & Play. The hub is available now for £14.99.

Needless to say drinking and driving is dangerous and we all are obviously aware of this. In spite of that when we drink we aren’t aware of anything and we often cross the limits and get totally sloshed. So, it’s advisable not to drink and drive, but for every plan you should always have a backup. This small pen ‘Breathe Testing Pen’ with a built-in mini breathalyzer can indicate if you have reached your limits. What you basically have to do is blow into a hole on top of the pen. The whole process takes just a few seconds. If you are out then the green LED turns red, indicating it’s a better idea to go back in a taxi. It’s very small and can be carried everywhere with convenience. The market price of this life saving instrument is $35.

Clear Audio offers its German made Master Reference Turntable, with a price tag of $19,000. This turntable is a mechanical and engineering masterpiece. If something doesn’t sound good on this analog turntable then no table can provide better sound quality. Its APG (accurate Power Generator) motor control system provides an even platter speed and synchronization of 3 separate motors and its six legs keep it resonance free. This turntable is considered the best turntable around. Most of DJ’s won’t be doing a lot of scratching on this table so it is made for only those who really want quality in their records.

With it’s in built Media Player you can listen to MP3s and watch video on its tiny 128 x 128 LCD display. It comes with inbuilt 32 MB memory with a micro SD card slot. It lacks EDGE or GPRS technology in it, but definitely this piece is really sexy.

When you are feeling hungry and you and have to cook food or for that matter have to heat it up, what first pushes you back is the time that it requires. But, now with the new ‘Panasonic FlashXpress Infrared Toaster’ you can make your food faster or heat up your food which could be anything from a frozen pizza to any curry about 40% quicker. It makes use of infrared radiations to heat the food. In this era when everything has got a high-tech treatment how could the oven stay back? Now, no more waiting around the oven to heat your food is going to bang a death knell on your hunger or movie session.

Gone are those days when you had a bed in your house for one sole purpose, which was sleeping. But today beds are instrumental in giving your room a good look as well as help you decrease the usage of space in the age of interior designing and small homes. The new ‘Modular Bed System’ from Maude is a step in this direction. The bed boasts of tablets that could be inclined for head support. It’s also fixed with reading lights and books at both ends of the bed. The bed is skinned with a birch plywood frame with the cushions in red, white and olive color. The bed is available in both king and queen sizes. The bed system can be changed according to your liking, and it can be put together very easily by one person. Looks like your bedrooms got all they were missing. Some looks and space!!!!!!!!

The market for digicams is flooded with cameras with all the features one can imagine. The low-end camera segment has been well controlled by Kodak. This is evident from the latest batch of cameras to be rolled out. Priced under $300 all these cameras will have the minimum specifications for sumptuous photography. First in the list is the EasyShare C533, a 5 megapixel camera with a tiny 1.8-inch LCD and 3x optical zoom whcich is priced at $199. The next on is at $249. The EasyShare C643 has 6 megapixel imager and 2.4-inch LCD with a 3x zoom. The undelete function of both of these comes handy for those who by mistake might delete a good shot. There are the V603 (pictured) also 6 megapixels, with a 2.5-inch LCD and VGA movie mode and Z612 both priced at $299. way to go for Kodak.

The Face Recognition automatic focus, claims the company, can detect the face and optimizes the settings to its specifications. The camera also has movie capture capability of 640×480 30fps and anti-shake switch which can be switched on for the perfect click. The camera can work underwater till a depth of 4.5 feet for half an hour. The camera is claimed to be dustproof but its handling would be easy with a half second switching-on time.

Sony’s new external DVD DRX-810 drive, almost identical to its predecessor, the Sony DRX800UL, comes with a silver design and mirrored panel on front which gives it a real touch. DRX comes with a plastic holder with which you will be able to position it flat or upright, without taking too much of your desk space. Also you can turn on its vibration feature, audible in upright position, which makes it cool. You will be able to connect it to PC and notebook via USB or Fireware. DRX allows writing speed of 16x (21.6MB/s) for single layer DVD, 8x(10.8) for dual layer DVDs (8.5 GB), 6x (8.1MB/s) for DVD-RW, 48x for CD-R and 32x for CD-RW, with help of bundled Nero package includes Nero Burning Rom, Vision Express and Showtime. If your PC has space, then it can be fixed inside, which is cheaper then its external version. It is priced between $121- $195. Disappointing thing is, it lacks support for Labelflash or Lightscribe label burning and DVD-Ram media of any description.
Dell 3007WFP 30” wide screen LCD display computer monitor which gives you a resolution of 2560×1600 (4 Megapixel). It provides you an excellent image quality, but with generating a little extra heat. The display is controlled by PC graphics processor (GPU), as it doesn’t come with any image processor. Now to get a resolution 4960×1600 pixels (8 mega pixel) you need to have two Dell 2001FP 20” monitor on each side of the of this Dell 3007WFP and make sure that you have dual-dual-link graphics card. Rotating both 2001FP by 90 degrees will provide you with exact same height than the 3007WFP. Now, each 2001FP has a resolution of 1200×1600 pixels (2 mega pixel). Windows will recognize this combination (1 Dell 3007WFP and 2 Dell 2001FP) as one monitor. Once setup you’ll have a [(1200+2560+1200) x 1600] 8 megapixel Desktop, with the ability to drag and stretch windows over the entire area.

It’s even a good media player. The VoToL can play MPEG-2, MPEG-4, and WMV9 videos and also plays MP3, AAC, WMA and Ogg audio. The NEC flaunts its ‘liquid gui’ which shows the device’s battery life, volume etc. It’s yet to be launched in Japan next month and as per sources, it shall be priced at about $399.

Employing Toyota’s Hybrid Synergy Drive, an electric motor drives the front wheels, while a gas engine and electric motor in combination drive the rear. CS&S also unveils Toyota Space Touch, where the driver selects functions by touching holographic projections. The all-wheel-drive sports mobile may have a 105hp next-generation hybrid engine. Thanks to a 3-liter V6 augmented by dual front and rear electric motors, this car boasts a breakneck 0-60 mph in just over four seconds while still offering around 30/mpg under normal driving conditions.

Its bottom part doesn’t move, only top section moves in order to take a unbroken view of entire surrounding area (panoramic view). With its cylindrical shape it will be easy for user to hold the camera into one, without need to aim and balance, also 360 camera can be placed on a tripod, while a in-built inclinometer will help you to make sure it’s level. It’s only in plan and there is no word if it will be manufacture.

MP3 players go underwater. And with all new sound technology. The Finis SwiMP3 is an underwater digital audio player. The pioneering bone conduction technology has been used by this system that helps sound to travel from the cheek bone to the ear. Sounds really innovative? So it is. The clarity one gets through the Finis SwiMP3 is much better then any other underwater MP3 player which gives a muffled sound underwater. The system comes with a 128MB memory to ensure you have enough music down there. The product does not work too well in deep waters. So its going to be a hit with the lappers may be the divers have to wait a little bit more. It would be out for sale at $180.

The success of the Amazon would be advanced multifold if its talks with four global music companies materialize. The Amazon brand audio players would be the device to listen to the music that comes out of this contract. In doing so Amazon would be setting up shop with their own iTunes Music Store competitors. The plan is to bring the tracks on the device preloaded. The subscription to this device would bring a lot of customers to Amazon and a discount on other CDs to the subscribers may be in the deal.

This may be the latest in security system, but its effectiveness is being questioned. The Alladin Biodynamic reader is based on the body’s ‘BioDynamic Signature’ comprising of the heart beat and other ‘intrinsic human electro-biometric dynamic signals’. It sounds very innovative as it has used something not conceived before. By placing the fingertip to the system it checks the heart beat and the fingerprints. This combination sounds difficult to break and so its crack seems to be difficult. It sounds as an ambitious product and its practical use is yet to be seen in the market. Hope this proves to be that foolproof gadget.

SANYO is up to challenge the MP3 market with its two latest recorders in their Diply line of recorders. The shape might be odd but the features covers fro them well. The ICR-S340RM has a gigabyte of sound space that means you can record non stop for 140 hours. The miniSD card slot makes it all the more user friendly. On the other part of the story is the ICR-S270RM, which has a compromised space of 512 MB and also does not have the removable storage facility. The looks have been made different by making the unit stand tall while in function. The USB 2.0 plug helps it in doing do. At $280 for the S340 and $170 for S270 it seems Sanyo is going to make it big.

Sharper Image offers the ultimate Soap dispenser dubbed Soap Genie. Have u ever thought of something as simple as a soap dispenser fitted with some sophisticated yet useful technology. Here, is soap genie. As soon as you place your hand under the dispenser it pours out soap or lotion and that too of your choice. It basically makes use of IR technology to sense a hand presence. It’s all the livelier from the other soap dispensers as it surrounds the environment with a sweet jingle when it dispenses. You may also have seen other dispenser dripping some soap after you have used them but Soap Genie uses a no-drip technology to prevent old soap from forming on the ground. It’s worth $39.95.
