Xbox One hardware “revolutionary” with 8GB of RAM, 500GB HDD

Unlike Sony, who didn't reveal any details about the PS4 itself, Microsoft showed off the console box right away, and they even told us what's under the hood. Xbox One ushers in Xbox On voice recognition and command

Microsoft just announced the Xbox One, the company's newest gaming console to succeed the Xbox 360. Right off the bat, the first feature that they showed off was Xbox On (not to be confused with the console's name). Touchscreens found on 10% of all notebook shipments in Q1

Touchscreen laptops appear to be rising in popularity as the newest data from market research firm DisplayBank says that touchscreen notebook shipments have jumped 51.8% during Q1 2013 compared to the previous quarter. A total of 4.57 million touchscreen laptops were shipped during the quarter, making up 10% of all notebook shipments during Q1 2013. Read The Full Story

Twitter granted pull-to-refresh patent for “defensive purposes” only

Twitter announced today that they have been granted a patent for the popular pull-to-refresh gesture that you see in many mobile apps. However, as a part of the company's new Innovator's Patent Agreement, Twitter agrees only to use the patent for "defensive purposes." Second 3D-printed gun fires off first round successfully

You may have seen and heard about the Liberator, a fully 3D-printed gun that earned the "world's first" moniker and was created by law student. However, one of the setbacks was that it could only fire one shot before the plastic destroyed itself. However, a new modified version of the Liberator has appeared, and it was able to fire off a full clip without skipping a beat -- eight bullets in total before parts were replaced. Amazon Web Services gets green light for government use

Back in March, we heard rumors that Amazon was working on building a private cloud service for government agencies (specifically the CIA in that case), and it turns out that's now getting the green light -- sort of. PS4 Frankenteaser appears before Xbox 720 event

Yesterday, the company teased its PS4 console in a video that showed the box itself from various close-up angles, and it has created some chatter amongst the PlayStation crowd who are dying to know what the console looks like. Star Wars Rebels cartoon series coming fall 2014

While we've already heard some details of Disney's future plans with the Star Wars franchise, the company has announced its next Star Wars project, called Star Wars Rebels. It will be a cartoon series that will air on the Disney Channel, and as you'd expect, this show will be aimed at the younger audiences, but we wouldn't be surprised if the older-generation Star Wars fans also enjoyed the show. Boeing 787 Dreamliner back in service in the US

After a four-month-long grounding due to a battery issue, the Boeing 787 Dreamliner is back in action in the US, with United Airlines announcing that the first flight since the grounding occurred today and took passengers from Houston, Texas to Chicago, Illinois. Verizon HTC One speculation returns as DROID DNA offer arrives

Verizon 4G LTE nearing 500 markets across US

Verizon is continuing to roll out its 4G LTE in more locations across the US of A by hitting many of the smaller cities and towns in between of the larger cities that they've already hit. Doing so will soon see them reaching the 500-market milestone.
