While the rest of the industry is inventing on WHDI wireless technology to replace HDMI cable, Audio Request is determined to extend the HDMI cable length to an unprecedented record. The company newly developed Series 10 HDMI cable promised to deliver 1080P signal up to 35 meters (~115 ft) and is being demonstrated at this week’s CEDIA Expo in Denver. AQ says the breakthrough of Series 10 while maintaining virtually error-free 1080P signal was the result from using Advanced Critical Twist Geometry and a proprietary conductor alloy. No price or availability information is available at this point.
