AT&T has released the perfect service for clumsy phone users. Some people that I know have a tendency to break, lose or otherwise make their phone inoperable on a regular basis. Then they come to people like me with their useless phone hoping that I can wave my magic wand and get out all of their contact information. AT&T’s Mobile Backup should make thinks much easier.
The idea is to have the phone automatically backup your data at regular intervals. The information is stored on AT&T’s servers, and is even viewable online.
You can add the Mobile Backup service to your plan for just $1.99. Hopefully more carriers will catch on to this idea, it will save people a lot of headaches.
