I don't think this report this will change the way the bigger carriers do anything anyway. Except for maybe T-mobile, who are merely trying to 'fit in' somewhere. They're all interested in the data centric, big profit margin contract plans, and not so much the smaller users (and their small user gripes). MVNO's like US Cellular, and Tracfone wireless, who are a pivoted around providing wireless to small users (and pennies), are obviously doing better merely because they're so much more reasonably priced. In the ironic case of tracfone's SVC brand (the one for the aged), which makes exclusive use of AT&T's network, they've done real well, even with those hard of hearing.Which goes a little way to prove that it's not so much AT&T's coverage, and signal quality, but their prices, and their customer service.

For what it's worth, I have had service through all the major carriers except T-Mobile, and am currently with Verizon.

Just lousy service.......I am glad the t-mob deal didn't go through, this way at least some semblance of improving customer service would exist or at least the need to improve.

So true. A Bart ride from Dublin Ca to SFO will drop call and data connection at least 10 times. Worse carrier in the US. Talking about deploying its 4G network. That's the biggest joke if they can't even get their 3G network working after all those years. AT&T sucks.
