Seriously, the 710 is well-reviewed. The problem Nokia/MS have to overcome as the 3rd player is lack of apps; and developers don’t write until there’s a market.

Throwing the Nokia phones into the cheap bin blows out all the prior-gen Android phones at similar prices. I couldn’t recommend an Android phone stuck on 2.2 or 2.3 over any Nokia Windows phone, much less this one.

You guys can argue about whether these phones compete heads-up against the current iOS and Android offerings.

I wouldn’t take one for free – mind you, that’s actual free, with no silly 50$/month contracts. Throw in a few hundred euros to sweeten the deal and I might be persuaded to burden myself with one, but I sure as hell wouldn’t stop using my current phone because of it.

So what is the best carrier then? AT&T has the fastest available data speeds, best phone selection and great customer service. Its also cheaper than Verizon.

good price point and a solid way to turn heads in the ATT store. Attractive handset plus a Nokia brand that offsets the Microsoft stigma. Unfortunately, it must launch on ATT, but it does give Nokia and Microsoft a chance of success, even if it is on America’s worst carier

Needs a higher resolution than 800/480 it needs 1280/800 than It would be a flagship phone this here seems like another mid tier windows phone only good thing about it is the build quality

So, 6 months after the flagship Nokia N9 was launched we finally get a MS versions with similar specification, but at an “end-of-line” price. Total desperation.
By now we could have had a Nokia Meego/Harmatten tablet on sale and a range of phones coming through.
How long will Elop last if this Lumia “flagship” sinks like the previous Lumia product range ?
