There is also a video walk-thru below so you can see what this new video service ATT is offering is all about. In case you didn’t know the LG Vu is going to be the device that ATT is going to use to launch their new mobile TV service.

The phone itself has a widescreen display that is touch-sensitive and offers up haptic feedback. The phone also has Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP so you don’t have to use wires with your headphones while watching TV on the device.

Did I mention the phone looks pimp as hell? Check out the pic of it next to the iPhone, pimp as hell, also the phone has a 2MP camera with video capabilities and a microSD card slot that will support up to 8GB of card storage.

i just got this phone yesterday. AT&T wanted a $500 deposit for service and $150 for the phone with $35 for an activation fee, and $40 for the 8gb microSD. I decided to buy the phone for $300, get a prepaid plan for $25 and buy a 16gb microSD for $50 at a different store. Best decision ever. This phone is unreal, it may not have some of the fun little useless perks that the iphone has but it is definately more than satisfying. Its easy to navigate through programs and everything loads incredibly quick. When you first buy the phone, calibrating the touch screen eliminates the aggrivating factory presets. I wont say its better than any other phone and there are plenty of things it could work on and plenty of things that make iphone users jealous but i think its nice how ergonomic it is. The use of the microSD makes it easy to move large files into the phone. Its also great because i can remove the SD card if i lend the phone to my boss or grandmother for any reason. They wouldnt discover my favorite lil wayne songs or see my private text messages with my friends. AT&T service is great in my area, Sprint is terrible in every way, Verizon doesnt offer any great deals on phones/service in my neck of the woods and TMobile is only a deal if you actually know of 5 other friends who are using their service (not in my neighborhood). The Vu is easy to navigate once you get used to the locations of their programs, some of them are a little tricky because they could easily have consolidated categories by putting voice command in with all of your call options seeing as thats the only thing that its good for anyways. Great phone overall, straightforward pricing, read the fine print and dont indulge yourself in services that are expensive no matter what brand you have. $100 a month will get you the same services between the Iphone and Vu, most people dont want to spend more than $60 a month on service for the Vu, because if they did, they would have bought an iphone, ya dig?

I just got the Vu 2 days ago and i love it! I was deeply considering getting an iPhone, but the service monthly for the minutes, text, and internet is over $100 monthly. My phone is really cool, and i think its more attractive than an iPhone.
Also, texting is easy because it has a full keyboard, as well as the normal one , which I think is awesome.
