I know this is a smartphone review, but as a professional photographer, I thought I'd provide just a little information regarding photo quality, as it relates to pixels and quality cut lenses. To keep it short, let me just say that you can't judge a digital camera on pixels alone. For example, a quality 8mp camera with the correct aperture and speed will take as good or better photos as a 16mp camera. Just as in a quality pair of eyeglasses, the precision of the lens glass cut is also important, and the aperture/speed also play a huge factor in the end result. I would take the 8mp camera on the Nokia 900, because it's a very high quality lens. It happens to be a Carl Zeiss lens, which in the camera world, are of the highest caliber. I don't know who manufactures the 16mp camera on the HTC Titan II, but if it's not a quality lens, you won't necessarily get a better picture than the 8mp Zeiss lens on the Nokia Lumia 900 with it's Zeiss lens. I could go on and on with technical speak, but it would take up an entire page. Let's just say that the Lumia 900 will most definitely take outstanding shots with it's Zeiss 8mp lens. Have fun!

I can't remember the last time I needed to shoot past 5mp and I take thousands and thousands of shots per project. I would be 1000x more impress with faster metering. But then again this is a camera phone so why even bother spending on all that camera equipment adding to the cost of the phone?
