LTE is a technology that, truth be told, is closer to what at&t’s network is based on rather than Verizon’s. LTE is based GSM and HSPA, both of which are in use on at&t and T-Mobile’s network. If anything, Verizon is finally coming more towards the at&t products (both Verizon and at&t are using the same manufacturer for their LTE backend operating on different frequencies).

It has super AMOLED plus. the author stated it does not have Super AMOLED HD like the Galaxy nexus

This new version will be AMOLED Plus, it just won’t be AMOLED HD which is a higher resolution.

LTE is a technology used by many wireless providers. Just because Verizon was the first one to use it, or use on their commercials doesn’t make it a verizon product. I believe the first demonstration was in 2006 by NokiaSiemens Networks and Nomor Research.

Obviously, because that is such a huge issue for Verizon 4G LTE and AT&T HSPA+ customers right now. Having speeds 5Mbps+ causes the user to stumble upon these 200MB+ files and accidentally download them…

Weird… so basically two identical phones, but one having 4.3″ screen the othe 4.5″ screen.
That’s not enough difference to justify two products.
My girlfriend has the AT&T GSII, I’ve got the Sprint version – you can barely tell the difference. Both are “big”.

I don’t think that LTE is either… if anything it would be reason to justify discontinuing the 4.3″ version.
Oh wait – did that say NO AMOLED on the 4.5″ version? Huh? There’s one on my Sprint GSII… why not use it?

Summary…
Wash: most of the phone, including 4.3″ to 4.5″ increase.
Pro: …LTE?
Con: No AMOLED! wtf?

AT&T also has an LTE network. It is currently only available in a handful of cities.

Super Amoled Plus has nothing to do with the resolution. Super Amoled (which is on the Galaxy Nexus) and Super Amoed Plus display technology is a different spec from the resolution. It is indeed WVGA since it has a 800 X 480 resolution like the original S2. The international version has a 1280 X 800 HD resolution with Super Amoled Plus. FYI, the Galaxy Nexus will only be Super Amoled, not Plus, but have a HD resolution of 1280 X 800.

They’re both 4G. One is HSPA+ and the other features LTE in addition, but yea, this is the number one issue with Android manufacturers. Now they’ll know how the DROID Bionic users are feeling.

No actually LTE is just a technology. Verizon did their LTE upgrade first. Research true 4G technology.

Lol 200 MB at LTE’s 100 Mbps means you can use your whole monthly data packet at 16 seconds! For month! The 2 GB packet you can use in less then 3 minutes. And there’s 2’629’800 seconds or 43830 minutes in 1 month.
