Weird... so basically two identical phones, but one having 4.3" screen the othe 4.5" screen.
That's not enough difference to justify two products.
My girlfriend has the AT&T GSII, I've got the Sprint version - you can barely tell the difference. Both are "big".

I don't think that LTE is either... if anything it would be reason to justify discontinuing the 4.3" version.
Oh wait - did that say NO AMOLED on the 4.5" version? Huh? There's one on my Sprint GSII... why not use it?

Summary...
Wash: most of the phone, including 4.3" to 4.5" increase.
Pro: ...LTE?
Con: No AMOLED! wtf?

Super Amoled Plus has nothing to do with the resolution. Super Amoled (which is on the Galaxy Nexus) and Super Amoed Plus display technology is a different spec from the resolution. It is indeed WVGA since it has a 800 X 480 resolution like the original S2. The international version has a 1280 X 800 HD resolution with Super Amoled Plus. FYI, the Galaxy Nexus will only be Super Amoled, not Plus, but have a HD resolution of 1280 X 800.
