Say no to ATT GSM monopoly in the east coast. T-mobile is the only GSM company that can compete with ATT. CDMA phones are not swapable.

Don’t be so naive. They are all out there to rip you and I off whether it be Apple or AT&T, Verizon, etc….You get the point. One is not better over the other, they just charge you what they and as much as they can. Apple sells you an unlocked 64G iPhone for $850 when the cost is only $178 and please don’t tell me that $600+ goes toward development, design and marketing of only one device. They charge you because they can and want and nobody is out there to ask them why. Where is DOJ to quetion this practice. I only used Apple as an example, but such cases are so many, no need to list them here. Lawyers work for $$$$, not you and me and in this case, DOJ lawyers perhaps want their own share of the $$$$

Sorry ATT!!! Now your plea is just pitiful. The DOJ needs to do the right thing and kill this deal once and for all. ATT should just cough up the break up fee so that both ATT and Tmobile can move on.

Apple wins because they make award winning products, and challenge an industry forward. AT&T wins cases because they buy off the lawyers, buy off the politicians, buy off everybody.

Did you know that AT&T won a supreme court case which partially invalidated class-action lawsuits? Yep..

And what caused that you may ask… Well, someone was overcharged $50 in taxes. And instead of paying the customer in a good-will credit, AT&T took it to the supreme court, where lawyers who probably cost $300 an hour duked it out in front of the supreme court.

So when you wonder why your AT&T phone bill is so high, just look at all the lawyers that are on the payroll. There’s an article at Reuiters about it– it’s called “AT&T hires all-star legal team” or something similar to that. Check it out. Just do a Google Search!

Maybe they should hire some of Apple’s lawyers. They seem to win every judgment regardless of the case.
