This is just teasing the inevitable but then again shared family plans we’re inevitable for a long while. Several years now. I say longer than 2 years for people to wait. They want to see what Verizon does. Hence the “you go first” aspect of having Verizon zapping the grandfathered unlimited plans for the shared family plans.

This idiot is out of touch with even his own company’s offerings. AT&T, Sprint and Verizon have all been offering “data only” plans for at least 2 years. I know because I have been using them. Maybe we are splitting hairs here since the current batch of data only plans work with USB Modems and built-in modems for laptops and tablet computers (like iPads) instead of smartphones.
