I believe the 34 million or so customers on Tmo like the service and very important the price plans being offered by Magenta. For competition to flourish, four Major cell companies in the US is just perfect…2 GSM and 2 CDMA. That way customers who love GSM devices have a choice, so do those who love CDMA.

I hope that Verizon’s LTE rollout can handle this to some degree. Customers switching will allow AT&T to catch up infrastructure-wise. Then both using the same type of network will allow more pure competition.
