So, you are comparing the markets that AT&T has announced as of now with the number of markets that Verizon promises by year end, how fair is that to say AT&T is “trailing far behind”? Why not wait until EOY and then count markets, or compare current AT&T markets with current Verizon markets?

I actually like that idea.

More and more people are using text and apps instead of voice calls for communications.

So why waste all the technology to do synchronous, symmetric voice, when the need is for asynchronous, asymetric traffic.

well… Personally I’m in a verizon dead zone (though it shows up on their maps as covered) That’s a big part of why I’ve switched to ATT. The Galaxy Note was the other part :)

Fast network with a data cap, then use wifi. Why buy into AT&T if I have to use wifi most of the time? This data service has to be a joke, right?

LTE and WIMAX are slush funds used by companies as projects to nowhere so they don´t have to feel pressure to get a decent dividend out to shareholders.
Wimax is dead, LTE is next.
What is LTE anyway, Long Term Evolution, the name in itself means nothing.

You sound you have no idea what you talking about, Clear is losing a ton of money and sprint will will effectively killing its wimax network over time.

LTE is looking like it will be used world wide. LTE is no bubble its been very sucessful and will continue to be.

Too bad AT&T fell for the LTE hoopla.

Clear’s Wimax network is the way to go…as Intel’s recent reaffirmation proves.

And Netzero’s free Wimax subscription will pop the LTE bubble for good!
